Beaches & Coves

Sueño Grande is just a 15 minute drive to the closest coastal town of Calpe, with it's popular Blue Flag beach La Fossa. Along the coast there is Moraira, Javea and Denia, which are the livelier coastal towns in the area. But beyond this, exploring the beautiful coves along the coast is not to be missed, with their chiringuitos and restaurants,  often with live music during the summer months, offering a wonderful relaxed vibe throughout the day.

Being located in the heart of the Jalon Valley we are lucky enough to be situated close to one of the most picturesque towns in the valley,  Lliber. With it's beautiful town houses and lively tapas bars, and not forgetting the festivals that take place throughout the year. The Val de Pop region is full of culture, colour and life, and all of the local towns and villages are well worth a visit, taking a coffee or wine and watching the world go by.

A Rastro market and farmers market takes place every Saturday in the town of Jalon, one of the largest towns here, with live music, local produce and an abundance of antiques. Drop by one of the many bars, restaurants, cafes or tapas bars to make the most of your visit.

Jesus Pobre is a little further away but on the first Sunday of every month a wonderful local the market that is full of local produce is well worth a visit.

Being amongst the vineyards it's only right that we mention the local Bodegas and wine tasting experiences. We have three main Bodegas close to the villa and we would be delighted to help you arrange a trip to any of these, though there are some alternative beautiful bodegas also in the area too.

Entertaining the kids 

There is just so much to do with the kids and it doesn't always have to cost you. Having a little one too we have explored most of the childrens activities in the area, including the child friendly restaurants. There are zoo's, water parks, hikes suitable for children, beautiful beaches and even coastal walks in the rain. Just ask and we will be delighted to point you in the right direction.
